Come join the Duke Political Science Student’s Association on Wednesday, April 16, from 7:00-9:00 PM, for one last chance to meet Erwin Chemerinsky and listen to him talk about his experiences arguing in front of the Supreme Court. Chemerinsky, the Alston & Bird Professor of Law and Professor of Political Science, is one of the nation’s most notable legal scholars. The author of four books and over a hundred law review articles, Chemerinsky is also one of Duke’s most beloved professors. He teaches a very popular undergraduate class each year the spring called “Liberty, Equality, and the American Constitution.” In 2005, Legal Affairs named him one of the “top 20 legal thinkers in America,” and he frequently argues cases in front of the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals.
Unfortunately, Chemerinsky is leaving after this semester to found a Law School at UC Irvine. This is one of the last events that he will be holding as a Duke Professor, so come listen to him before its too late.
